Yes isn’t it grand. That an aging Fossil of Literature and Liberal Icon like Gore Vidal can trash a child. She was a Hooker according to this aging Dirt Bag. When it suits a Liberal there is no crime another Liberal can commit. Anything goes.
The puerile scum who think their defecation is not offensive can trash even a 13 year old. Plied with Alcohol, Qualudes and forcibly Raped. If I had any of Gore Vidal’s Book it would be used as kindling for a Fire.
In another cultural note, Tyra Banks the Model has a talk show. Oriented toward Women of course. I applaud Ms. Banks for the show entitled “Women Who Beat Their Men”. It is hopefully an opening to start a dialog on how to address mutual violence in relationships or by Women.
The current paradigm that Only Men are Abusive is rubbish. It does not get to a solution on Domestic Violence. Where Both genders and children suffer.
Years ago, many of them. My ex Wife and I knew a Couple renting a Duplex in the same complex as our Young Family. I heard from the Wife a few days ago after many years. Sadly she related how her Ex Husband had been very abusive of their Children. She remarried and later Divorced her Second Husband.
A dirty secret is Second Marriages fail at a greater rate than first marriages. It seems that with the influence of Feminism and the entitlement mentality. Or the unrealistic and unreasonable expectations in Western Women. Marriage is a high risk proposition for Men.
Like many Men born in the 1950s I was socialized to believe and expect that Marriage was a public declaration of my love and commitment to my wife. And not a casual agreement to be canceled if I was unhappy. Like many Men I want to be loved, admired and respected by a Woman whose opinion of me truly matters. And whose admiration and respect gives my life meaning and purpose.
My Father in his 80s refers to this life as a vale of tears. It is truly that. Men and Women need each other. And the tragedy of our era is that partnership is dissolving. It is Women who must reinstate it with fairness.
